Geberit, the leading manufacturer of plumbing and sanitary systems has launched the S bend – a simple and cost effective solution for the conversion of bathrooms from traditional floor standing AVÅ®ÓÅ designs to the modern and stylish wall-hung look.

The S bend allows this transition without the upheaval and expense of having to move existing drainage connections. Compatible with Geberit’s Duofix AVÅ®ÓÅ frames for wall-hung sanitaryware, the S bend has been designed to connect to the existing drainage outlet situated in front of the new AVÅ®ÓÅ, thus saving time and money by avoiding unnecessary building work.

At a depth of 72mm, the new S-bend has an ultra-flat profile enabling it to be installed below floor level with minimal adaptation work required. The flexible length of the S-bend also allows on-site adjustment between 14.5cm and 34.5cm.

The installation of wall hung AVÅ®ÓÅ’s is becoming increasingly popular in both commercial and domestic applications and provides an easily cleanable and hygienic alternative to traditional floor standing toilets. Geberit’s Duofix system comprises a sturdy metal frame, which supports wall-hung sanitaryware and includes drainage connectors and a sound insulated cistern. Easy access to the cistern, for maintenance, is via the flushplate and no tools are required to remove or replace the flushing mechanism. Geberit’s Duofix AVÅ®ÓÅ frame is available in three heights so totally adjustable for height and variations in wall levels and only requires four fixing points to accept a maximum load of 400kg (63 stone).
